Marinus van Heuvelen
Marinus was born in Spijk on February 4, 1983. He grew up in a family with four children. After completing his studies in electrical engineering at HTS in Groningen, he studied theology in Belgium and Switzerland. As a result, he speaks Dutch, English, German, and Spanish. In 2007, he met Monica. She is the daughter of the pastor of the "Casa de Dios" church. Together, they worked with the children in Metan and later in Rio Piedras, a nearby village. In 2010, they founded the Zera Metan foundation to formalize their work. Since 2017, they have also been the pastors of the "Casa de Dios" church, the mother church from which everything is organized.

Monica Marquez
Monica was born in Salta in the northwest of Argentina. Her parents were the pastors of the "Casa de Dios" church in Metan. She has one sister and five brothers. She completed the DTS with Youth With A Mission. She studied German in Germany and Switzerland, and as a result, she speaks German and Spanish.
