Children

When the foundation was established in 2010, the first emphasis lay with children. Children in Metán and the surrounding area often grow up with little prospect. We believe that children are precious in the eyes of God. When they discover this, their future can change. For them the gospel is not a conclusion after the help, and the help is not a lure for the gospel. Both belong to the same attention: seeing the child, involving the family, letting the congregation share in the care. Children’s work remains connected with the local church. It is not a separate whole beside the congregation. Students of the school often help. In this way they learn that mission is not only a journey to a distant village, but also an afternoon with children in their own town.
